Stowe Capital Group is a private developer and investor in hotels, resort destinations, and mixed-use real estate. As a principal co-GP, we pursue ground-up development, complex recapitalizations, and distressed acquisitions alongside institutional and family office partners.
Our approach is built on two decades of hands-on development and asset management — more than $4 billion of residential, hospitality, and commercial projects — and the institutional relationships that come with it.
That same experience underpins our private advisory practice, through which we selectively support sponsors and developers on capital strategy and structuring. Because we underwrite, build, and own, we advise from the principal's side of the table.

Nicholas Stavros
Founder and Managing Principal
Nick brings over 20 years of real estate expertise to Stowe Capital Group, with oversight of more than $4 billion in residential and hospitality developments and commercial real estate throughout his career. Having leveraged his background to sructure over $800mm of projects. His extensive asset management experience spans opportunistic debt and equity investments as well as distressed assets, with a proven track record of maximizing value across complex investment scenarios.
Nick has held strategic positions at The Witkoff Group, citizenM Hotels, LNR Partners, and Time Equities, where he managed luxury developments, expansion portfolios, and diverse asset types across major markets.
Nick holds an MBA from F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College and a BBA from the Isenberg School of Management at University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Thaxter Sharp
Strategic Advisor
Thaxter Sharp brings over 40 years of investment expertise to SCG advisory board. His extensive career spans hedge fund management as Founder and Managing Partner of Pointu Capital Management, venture capital through multiple advisory roles, and angel investing across early-stage companies. His experience includes leadership positions at JMP Group's Harvest Capital Strategies, Banc of America Securities, and JPMorgan Chase.
Thaxter currently serves as Strategic Advisor to multiple venture firms including Zetta Venture Partners, Capria Ventures and Himalyan Venture Partners, leveraging his cross-sector expertise in private equity, hedge funds, venture capital and investments in AI, Enterprise and FinTech.
He lives in Park City, UT and holds an MBA in Finance and Investments from the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business and an AB in Government from Dartmouth College.
Lincoln Hine
Strategic Partner
Lincoln Hine is the Founder and CEO of Atlas Group Ltd., a privately held Palm Beach–based company with operating divisions spanning real estate development, construction, hospitality, and finance. A third-generation owner-operator, Lincoln oversees a diversified portfolio including more than 1,000 hospitality units across Florida and the Midwest, over 50,000 square feet of commercial real estate, and multiple residential and resort developments — with access to over $1 billion of property and development-ready land through the Atlas platform.
Through Atlas SCG LLC, the joint venture between Atlas Group and Stowe Capital Group, Lincoln and SCG jointly pursue hotel, wellness, and mixed-use developments. The venture pairs Atlas's land position, construction capability, and hospitality operations with SCG's development leadership and institutional capital relationships.
Lincoln is a founding member of the Cottage Home Association and a member of the Florida Housing Coalition and the Palm Beach Hedge Fund Association.

Kimpton Napa Valley
A 123-key Kimpton gateway property in Napa's Oxbow district — two courtyard buildings, a rooftop restaurant and bar, an event venue, and a ground-up wellness center in the heart of wine country.

A 105-key boutique hotel in the Marriott Tribute Portfolio, channeling the creative energy of Santa Barbara's Funk Zone — refined coastal hospitality with a fully integrated wellness program.

An ultra-luxury wellness resort set on a working regenerative farm — 70 keys and 30 branded residences, with farm-to-table dining and a longevity program where the land itself is part of the protocol.
